SELF PORTRAIT: SENIOR YEAR
Reels are just a conglomeration of all the videos you make throughout a year. The videos I used are from actually every year of e-Comm. The idea is to use as many of your own shots to actually display you abilities, though for me I tried to primarily display the lighting that I established. Usually reels are a good portfolio piece.
SELF PORTRAIT: SENIOR YEAR
Self portraits are made to briefly display who people are. When put in portfolios they give people an idea of who you are and what you spend your time doing. My self portrait this year was designed to show my devotion to God, school work, Theatre and my Beliefs.
FILM REEL: JUNIOR YEAR
Reels are just a conglomeration of all the videos you make throughout a year. While most of the videos featured in this video actually show me (because I did a lot of acting last year) but the idea is to use as many of your own shots to actually display you abilities. Usually reels are a good portfolio piece.
DAYDREAMING SHORT FILM: JUNIOR YEAR
Daydreaming was a short film I made with a classmate of mine first semester of last year. The video is supposed to highlight how we have so many opportunities available to us in our young lives and it is up to us to pave the path to our greatest future.
SEMESTER I FINAL PROJECT: JUNIOR YEAR
One of the first shows projects of "The Dream Team", Richard Griggs, Katie Langton, Mattie Karr and I created this quick short film at the end of the first semester last year.
SELF PORTRAIT: JUNIOR YEAR
Another short film that I did, actually the first. Again these are made to just briefly and simply display a few things about yourself.
TEXTING AND DRIVING PSA: JUNIOR YEAR
This award winning PSA was made by the Dream Team last year. Our purpose behind it was to show that texting and driving have really serious risks, so many people die from car accidents each year and they can all be prevented by people waiting until they are done driving to check their phones. One thing to notice is the difference in quality of this video, filmed in the spring of my Junior year, to my Junior year Self Portrait, filmed at the beginning of the year.
INJUSTICE OF SILENCE: JUNIOR YEAR
The Injustice of Silence was an MLK video most of the Dream Team (Katie Langton, Mattie Karr and I) made last year. Juxtaposing someone on stage performing and someone living life as a high school student we wanted to highlight how so often we don't stand up for our friends when hard times come to them. This piece won first place in the Olathe District multi-media competition last year.
ONW COMMERCIAL: JUNIOR YEAR
Olathe Northwest, my school which hosts the e-Communications program, a filmmaking program that I'm in, tasked all the students in the class to make a quality commercial for the school. What they got was a wide variety of different films, from the comedians in the class they got a wacky commercial featuring "Psycho Bob". On this video I worked with Keyshawn Garraway.
